Covid Catch up Premium Funding
Children and young people across the country have experienced unprecedented disruption to their education as a result of coronavirus (COVID-19). Schools have been allocated funding to bridge the aggregate impact of lost time in education during the time period.
Schools’ allocations will be calculated on a per pupil basis, providing each mainstream school with a total of £80 for each pupil. This means a typical primary school of 200 pupils will receive £16,000. St winifred’swill receive £32,400.
The premium is paid in three tranches as indicated in the table below. We have reviewed the proposed expendituire regularly in light of pupil assessments, pupil progress meetings amd imapct analysis to ensure that it is used to best effect for our children.
