Our School Choir

The School Choir is open to children in Years 3, 4, 5 & 6.

At the beginning of each school year children can apply to join the choir to Mrs Reynolds via the school office admin@st-winifreds.stockport.sch.uk. It will be advised via our communication, School Spider App when this time is. 

If you would like to add your name to the waiting list, please email the school office.

Coffee & Carols - December 2023

Friends and family, together with the parish hosted a Coffee  & Carols, morning with a  tombolla, raffle and festive cheer at the Kavanagh Centre. Our Choir also treated the community to some festive songs.

Christmas Songs at Newlands Care Home Visit

The school choir accompanied by Mrs Haynes, Mrs Reynolds and Mrs O’Dwyer, visited the Newlands Care Home in Heaton Moor. The choir performed a variety of Christmas songs and carols to the delight of the residents. Thank you to Mrs Reynolds and Miss Lathrope for preparing the choir for the 6 song set.

In September 2023 our School choir were invited to be part of The Stockport Music Story Concert. This was a unique celebration of Stockport’s musical history from the 1960’s to the present day, being a wonderful experience for the children to be a part of history.
