  • Summer Fair

    Wed 26 Jun 2024

Congratulations to our Family and Friends who raised a huge £3357 at the Summer Fair on Friday 21st June!

We had a fabulous evening and the weather was relatively kind to us. The team and volunteers from our parental community worked incredibly hard before, during and after the fair to ensure that it ran smoothly and safely.

Thank you to our Family and Friends group and to all of you who were able to join us on the evening.

  • Visit from Bishop John

    Wed 19 Jun 2024

We had a visit from Bishop John this week, photos included are from Class 8's Science lesson and the Caritas assembly.

Further to our visit from Bishop John, Fr Mark kindly passed on this kind comment from the Bishop:

‘I was very pleased to visit our local primary school and very impressed by the enthusiasm of both staff and pu?pils. It seems to be a very happy place and achieving a great deal.’

What wonderful feedback for our school family.

  • Arts & Culture Week

    Mon 22 Jan 2024

This weeks theme has been about sustainability to save the planet. There has been a wonderful variety right across the school all week. The

Reception children have been busy making amazing boats using recycled household items. The year 1 children have been looking at artist Andy Goldsworthy then hunting for pebbles and stones to paint. Year 2 were busy upcycling materials from old items of clothing to make bags. Year 3 were making Japanese Manga style self portraits and learning about printing on newspapers. Year 4 recycled old newspapers to make rainforest tree collages. Year 5’s used household waste alongside pastilles to great effect as they recreated their own ‘Hokusai’ Great Wave. Finally, Year 6 have been dramatizing sustainability and learning about the life of Famous musician and environmentalist Joni Mitchell. Well done to all classes on a great effort all week!

  • Christmas Fair- Thank you

    Thu 23 Nov 2023

Thank you to all members of our school family who donated gifts, bottles, chocolate and time to make this year's Christmas Fair such a huge success! The children had an amazing time.

A special thank you must go to our Family and Friends group who worked tirelessly to organise and run the event.
